Meet Our Founder & Managing Director

Nomzamo Mthembu-Luthuli
Founder & Managing Director
Nomzamo Mthembu-Luthuli completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of South Africa in 2019. Her legal journey began during her Articles of Clerkship at Mzila HM Incorporated in Pietermaritzburg in 2020. This pivotal experience exposed her to a wide array of legal domains, including, but not limited to, Land Claims and Restitution Disputes, Labour Tenancy Matters, Road Accident Fund matters, Reporting of Deceased Estates and Drafting of Wills, Traditional Leadership Disputes, Trusts, Drafting of Contracts and Corporate Law, and litigation.
In 2021, she earned her admission as an Attorney of the High Court and practiced as such at
Mzila HM Incorporated, gaining further extensive experience across diverse branches of law.
Later in the same year, she assumed a role of Regional Legal Officer for the National Union
of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) heading the legal division for the province of the
Eastern Cape, with offices situated in Port Elizabeth.
During her tenure as a Regional Legal Officer at NUMSA, Nomzamo developed an immense
passion for labour and employment law. Her focus on advancing the interests of the working
class and excelling in dispute resolution became evident. She not only managed the legal
office but also played a crucial role in providing training to shop stewards and Dispute
Resolution Committees. Her experience includes appearances at the Labour Courts and
arbitrations, demonstrating an extensive understanding of laws, legislations, regulations, and
the rights of employers as afforded by South African and International laws.
In 2024, Nomzamo Mthembu-Luthuli is in her final year of study for her Master of Laws in
Labour Law (LLM- Labour Law) at Nelson Mandela University, showcasing her commitment
to continuous learning and staying at the forefront of legal expertise.

Senior Associate and Notary

Nkosingiphile Zuma
Nkosingiphile Zuma is our Senior Associate and Notary Public. He completed his Bachelor of Laws at the University of South Africa in 2019. He then served his Articles at Mzila HM Incorporated Attorneys in Pietermaritzburg in 2020. In 2021 he became admitted as an Attorney of the High Court, whereafter, he proceeded to practice as an Attorney at Mzila HM Incorporated.

Having worked at Mzila HM Incorporated, he gained a range of skills and expertise in areas such as Road Accident fund matters, Land Claims and restitution matters, Labour Tenancy maters, reporting of deceased estates, drafting of Wills, drafting of contracts and corporate law, traditional Leadership disputes, administrative law and general litigation. In 2022, Mr Zuma became admitted as a Notary Public which signifies his ability to: authenticate documents for international use; preparing notarial deeds like notarial bonds, servitudes, ante-nuptial contracts, notarial leases, exclusive use areas in sectional titles, etc.; draft wills; draft trust deeds; and handle other legal matters associated therewith.

Later in 2022, he became employed by the Department of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development as a Project Officer in the Directorate of Tenure Reform Implementation. This career move allowed him to delve deeper into land related matters and expand his knowledge beyond traditional legal practice. His combined experiences in private legal practice and government service have likely equipped him with a robust skill set and a comprehensive understanding of various legal and land-related issues. His role involved resolving land rights disputes between land occupiers and landowners, referring to Legal Aid South Africa for litigation and in disposing of State land to Occupiers. His role further involved processing applications lodged in terms of Labour Tenants Act and referring disputed Labour Tenants application to Land Claims Court.
